Stand Alone Systems
Not connected to the grid? No problems! We can design systems for every application, no matter how much power you use/need. Stand alone systems can be difficult to size and design, but with our team of PV experts, we get it right every time!
How does it work?
Solar Photo Voltaics (PVs) are arrays of cells containing a material that converts solar radiation into direct current (DC) electricity. Put simply, Solar Power installations use Solar panels, some wiring and electronics to convert light energy from the sun into electrical energy.
Solar Credits
With the Solar Credits Scheme, Solar Power is now within reach of more Australians. Means testing is a thing of the past and your household is eligible for Solar Credits no matter how much you earn.
Solar Credits greatly reduce the cost of a Solar system.
Feed in Tariffs
If you are connected to the main grid you may be eligible for a Feed in Tariff (FiT).
The FiT for your state is either GROSS or NET (GROSS means you’ll sell back to the grid all of your solar generated electricity. NET means you will first supply your property with electricity and only all the excess electricity will be sold back to the grid).
Different FiT rates apply to all states, please call us to enquire about yours.
The FiT could make your solar system pay for itself much sooner than you think.

Everything will then be explained to you in comfortable surroundings. And we will make sure to cover any additional questions you may have.
If you are not happy with the quote we will simply leave it at that.
However, if you are happy to go ahead, we’ll then start the process of organising the paperwork, Solar Credits, installation and connection to the grid.
And rest assured knowing your solar panels are covered by one of the highest power output warranties in the industry.
What size do I need?
The size of system you need varies as every house is different. It all depends on how energy efficient your household is and what sort of impact you expect from the system. You can eliminate your bills entirely or start out small and upgrade later when budget permits, or even invest in your own Solar Farm outright. Also keep in mind it can be a really good idea to combine solar power with solar hot water.
Feed in Tariffs
Every state is different. Queensland currently offers a NET tariff, meaning the difference between what you create and use will be sold back to the grid. Presently you are guaranteed a minimum rate of $0.44 with some retailers offering even higher rates. The tariff is a great incentive for going solar as you sell your electricity for sometimes triple the value of what you pay for it.
